The City of Birmingham Department of Youth Services and WBRC 6 News are partnering to offer summer jobs to Birmingham youth over five weeks this summer! The Exposure and Executive component of the Kids & Jobs program are designed to help cultivate the professional development necessary to empower students to become an integral part of the business community.

If accepted for the program, students will earn between $11-$14 per hour, working four hours a day, five days a week over a five week period! Program dates are June 9- July 11.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Birmingham resident (click here to find out).
• 2.0 GPA Requirement
• Must be at least 14 years of age and cannot exceed age 24 by June 9th, 2025
• Full commitment to work from June 9th – July 11th, 2025.
