The Komen North Central Alabama Race for the Cure is a unique 5k walk/race event, designed to encourage public dialogue about breast cancer, deliver breast health messages, promote the importance of early detection, raise funds for local breast health services, programs and research and helps serve as a powerful, visual annual reminder to get a mammogram.
